A few weeks ago my friend Tricia and I drove from Los Angeles to Portland in a bright red Chevy Cobalt. It was a really great experience… here are some photos from the first part of the trip…
My favorite place to sit on a plane is next to the wings, some people hate it because of the loud engines, but I feel comforted by it somehow…
My first impression of LA: tall palm trees on a hazy day
Ben Axelrad’s kitchen in West Hollywood
Walking down Sunset Blvd
In N Out Burger
I happened to be in LA the weekend of the Oscar’s… outside the Kodak theater
I love Harry Potter
I was fascinated by all of the impersonators walking around, making money posing for pictures with people. I wonder how many of these impersonators came to Hollywood to make it big.

Santa Monica. It was all about physical fitness here, lots of acrobatic people…
I had the opportunity to shoot a really fun party for Crunch Gym, and they decided to use one of my photos for an ad campaign they are running right now. Only one of the photos is mine, don’t get too excited… The pole dancing lady on the lower left hand corner. Regardless, it is very rewarding to see your work out in the open, however cornered it may be.
These are photographs I took of my friend Victoria almost 10 years ago when I first got my camera. Back then I didn’t know how to use it properly, so every good image was a lucky mistake. Also, it was film, so not only did I not know what I was doing, I had to wait patiently to see the results of my experiments. I really miss that sometimes.
